Discovering The Greatness Within You!

Sooooo, this last week, I decided to do something COMPLETELY different, something TOTALLY out of character for myself. I registered for a high level event in Orlando Florida called THE THING. This event was comprised of a Disney Imagineer, CEOs, highly sought after marketing professionals, artists, Entrepreneurs, Industry thought leaders, authors, coaches, professional speakers, entertainers, etc. and setting there in the midst of a room full of amazing talent and amazing souls was me, a funeral director, a business owner and entrepreneuer from West Virginia. 

There was not one other person in the room representing my profession, only me. Booking a flight, going to an event where I literally knew nobody and being totally out of my comfort zone and out of my element was exactly what I needed! 

I am forever changed and I challenge you to be watching for some amazing new things that I recognize was already within me but needed to be released and will make a difference in our businesses, our communities and the world. I met a room full of highly creative people from all over the country, people that I now call my friends.

I’d like to encourage those that are reading this today, to GET OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE AND JUST DO IT, AND DO IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! We all have but one life to Live, and we all have so much to give but we need to live it well, give it well and Live life fully. 

In the words of my new friend, C. McNair Wilson Disney Imagineer, “If you don’t do you, you, doesn’t get done and the world is incomplete.”
